Mizuno Finisher MID vs Finisher LOW: Which Should You Buy?
Mizuno's boxing range comes down to two models: the Finisher MID and the Finisher LOW. They share the same thin rubber sole and 2E width, so the choice really comes down to one question — how much of your ankle do you want covered?

Mizuno Finisher MID
The Finisher MID laces all the way to the top of its collar, wrapping the ankle. Its full-opening lacing is a genuinely useful detail: loosen the laces and the upper opens right out, so the shoe goes on without forcing your foot through a narrow collar. It's built for a close, barefoot-like feel on the canvas with firm hold through lateral movement.
Choose the MID if you want your ankle wrapped, have had ankle trouble, or simply prefer more structure. Finisher MID colourways in our store include Black/White, White/Silver, Black/Gold Enamel and Black/Green.
Mizuno Finisher LOW
The Finisher LOW stops at the ankle, finished with a fold-over collar that carries the Mizuno logo patch. At roughly 265g a shoe it's the lighter of the two, and it's the choice for boxers who live on their feet and want the least weight possible. Its upper is synthetic fibre and artificial leather, and it has a stick-on insole that isn't designed to be removed.
Choose the LOW if footwork speed matters more to you than ankle coverage.
What the model numbers mean
Mizuno uses model codes that shoppers often search for. Finisher MID shoes use the 21GA2310 family and Finisher LOW shoes use 21GA2300, with the final digits identifying the colourway — for example, 21GA230011 is the Finisher LOW in White/Silver Polygon.
Sizing
Both models size by foot length in centimetres with a 2E width. If you're between sizes, go by your measured foot length. Our sizing guide explains how to measure.
